I have always loved to write and create. I get into terrible bouts of "must create" and it often interferes terribly with life as we know it. So over the years I have written poetry and novels, but have been very reluctant to share them overall.
So that brings us to now. Very recently I read an unbelievable book called "Jone Dies in the End" (fixed so you all get the right title). If you haven't read it yet, stop and go read it. But to give credit where it is due, it was through that book and its authors history that I decided maybe this is the way to go. Soooooooo, here we go. With that I want to directly thank Claire for giving me the idea without actually trying to (save the cheerleader, save the world Clairebear) and without direct influence, her man Dana for wanting to read my crap :)
So off we go. I am going to start sharing the first book in the tale of Terra. While the middle of this saga is written, the beginning and end are not complete. While complete in my head, they have failed to find completion in text. You would think after six books I would have written it all, but sometimes, if life would leave me alone, I would lose myself in them and tell the entire story and with it, I could smile at life and be more content.
Your comments, questions and disgust are welcome. I will take them all. Maybe this is my therapy or maybe I just think I have something to share. Either way, I have no doubt you will all (no matter how small that all is) will let me know.
Love life and enjoy it, regardless of what reality you live in :)

I really enjoyed the first couple chapters when you shared them with me before, but I'm really enjoying getting a deeper look. Keep em coming!
ReplyDeleteI am not trying to infringe on your blog (though I did start reading through and bookmarked it because I like it thus far!) =0D I am just hoping I have the correct person.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that this is a person in whom I played EQ with many years ago....A person whom I fell out of contact with and have been trying to find for a bit of time again now. IF the writer of this blog, S.M.Swafford, did used to play EQ (Unconquered ring a bell?) please, email me.

And if it is not, please, feel free to delete this comment...I left it as I was unable to find a way to message S.M.Swafford directly. Thanks again!
